For the vast majority of watches, the polishing process makes it possible to remove or reduce scratching on gold or steel surfaces thus restoring it to look like new again. Given that this operation involves the removal of a fine layer of metal, we recommend you not to have this service carried out more than:
- Twice in the lifetime of a watch made of white gold,
- Three times in the lifetime of a watch made of yellow gold.
Check beforehand with our Cartier polishing team that your model can be polished.
Typically watches have a turnaround time of 7 days. you will post to us and once finished we will post back with a fully tracked service. the tracking number will also be sent to you via email.

Please note if you select POLISH ULTIMATE then unless otherwise guided by the customer, we will polish the watch back to how it looked when brand new. This includes with some models a highly polished surface and also satin blended surfaces.
